Youth Employment Services Programme 2025/2026

As Southern Africa’s fastest growing black-empowered electrical wholesalers with an entrenched footprint spanning 45 years, as well providing a wide range of internationally recognized and SABS approved products across five main categories: Power and instrumentation cables, solar products, cable management systems overhead Line equipment and conductors as well as general low voltage products (including lighting). We positively encourage the development of talent. We seek committed individuals who are serious about their careers and development between the ages of 18 and 30 and looking for opportunities to gain work experience to supplement their acquired qualifications in the following fields: (Please see Below) successful candidates will be required to report at the respective workplace daily.
This program offers an opportunity for you to practically showcase and provide the potential and commitment you have and what you are made of.

The following Regions will be hosting candidates Nationally (Select locally and where physically accessible to you only)

 

  • GAUTENG: (Midrand (near Kempton Park), Centurion, East Rand, Gezina, Silverlakes, Pretoria East & West Pretoria North.
  • WESTERN CAPE: Cape Town Montague Gardens/Diep River
  • KWAZULU NATAL (Durban North/Glen Anil, Durban Prospecton, Pietermaritzburg Richardsbay)
  • LIMPOPO Polokwane
  • MPUMULANGA Rustenburg, Middelburg, Nelspruit
  • EASTERN CAPE East London and Port Elizabeth
  • FREE STATE – Bloemfontein

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be 18 – 30 years old
  • Currently unemployed, NOT studying, or have currently registered to study full-time.
  • Passed Matric (Grade 12) and or attained a relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • No criminal record
  • Should NOT have participated in any YES program previously (eligibility checks will be conducted)
  • Required to fully and consistently commit to the 12-month program (April 2025-31 March 2026)
  • Will undergo interview, verification process/shortlist, polygraph test, and background check where required.
 

The YES program is aimed at Africans, Indians and Coloured individuals (AIC). The YES program runs for 12 months with limited number y6 available.  Candidates required to remain committed to the 12-month Program may apply; however, we do positively encourage candidates with completed tertiary qualifications in the fields specified below:

 

CANDIDATES HAVING THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS IN THESE FIELDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY:

 

  • Finance: Degree in Financial Management / Cost and Management Accounting
  • Sales and Marketing: National Degree / Diploma in Retail Management, Business Management / Supply Chain Management (you will be in the field of buying, negotiating, promotions, and stock planning). Strong financial acumen is essential.)
  • Warehouse / Logistics: National Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Freight Logistics Management or Project Management or related qualification
  • Electrical: National Diploma in Electrical/Electrical Engineering / National Diploma in Alternative Energy low Voltage/Solar
  • Debtors/Creditors: (Durban Local/DBN Prospecton area only) Diploma/ Degree Debtors/Creditors
  • Tenders:(Local Durban / DBN Prospecton area only) Diploma /Degree /LLB Law Management
  • Information Technology Midrand: (Diploma /Degree or relevant IT-related qualification)
  • Payroll: (Prospecton area) Diploma/ Degree in Payroll or relevant Financial fields
